Dental Insurance – Hopkinton, MA

Making Sure Your Treatment is Covered

You need to be able to plan ahead in order to make sure your orthodontic treatment is affordable. You can typically expect dental insurance to help you pay for examinations, orthopedic devices, and other services that have been deemed medically necessary. Here at Simply Orthodontics Hopkinton, we’re ready to work with you to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your benefits, and we’re ready to accept all insurance plans and providers. Learn more about the way these plans work!

How Dental Insurance Works

We’ll make sure you understand the details of your unique plan once you visit our orthodontic office (although it’s always a good idea to review your benefits at home before beginning any sort of treatment). Remember that once you’ve started the orthodontic process, you’ll want to remain under your specific plan for its duration in order to avoid penalties and maximize the coverage.

What Does My Plan Cover?

Most of the time, dental insurance is willing to pay for part of your child’s orthodontic care provided that it’s for a health-related issue, such as if they have difficulty chewing their food or are suffering from jaw misalignment. Each insurance company is different, though, so it’s necessary to review the particulars of your policy. It’s a good idea to fulfil the current waiting period and enroll ahead of time before beginning the treatment itself so that you’re already benefitting from the coverage by the time your child receives orthodontic care.

In-Network VS Out-of-Network

For orthodontic offices, being “in-network” with an insurance company means signing a contract that promises to charge certain (usually reduced) prices for specific services. Despite being in-network with your insurance or not, we can likely use your benefits to help you pay for treatment. We’re able to accept plans from most providers to ensure you get an affordable rate for the care that you or your loved one receives.
